Our Mission
IOC’s mission is community-focused and outreach-oriented, striving for mutual respect and harmony through education, tolerance, and social activism. Guided by the principle, “Shahaadat ‘Alan Naas – Be a Witness Over Mankind,” it serves both Muslims and non-Muslims in Greater Houston, teaches youth to be socially responsible and develops them for leadership, nurtures interfaith understanding to ensure social harmony, and serves as a youth-centric facility and a vibrant institution for learning and social justice.

Our Vision
Our vision is to be a community hub that educates, empowers, and organizes Muslims, while engaging non-Muslims through outreach. We aspire to be a place where youth are developed into leaders and to provide a welcoming environment that encourages reflection, learning, and community bonding, while remaining a local institution aligned with ICNA’s national vision of service, justice, and da’wah.
